Prof. Dr A F M Jamal Uddin obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in 2003 from Kagoshima University, Japan and MS in Horticulture in 2000 from the same university. He got Post Doctoral Research Experience in Development of Molecular database of Japanese isolates of Phytophthora species, River Basin Research centre (RBRC) Gifu, Japan. He has 200+ publications and various fields of research in agriculture production.

He got “Resource Development Foundation” Award in 2018.

Presently He is working with – Tissue culture for flowering plantlets – Rooftop spirulina production – Rooftop gardening to mitigate urban heat Island – Pest exclusion net – Organic farming – #Green Bangladesh  & 90 minutes schooling.
