Prof. Dr Md. Hazrat Ali obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in 1995 from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Masters in 1984 from the University of Alberta, CANADA. He got training in Farming System Research and Development in 2000 from Malaysia and Thailand & in Agriculture Research, Planning and Evaluation in 1989 at BARI/ BARC. He has 33 years of Teaching Experience at Bangladesh Agricultural Institute (BAI) and long a time Research Experience in various institutions.

He has been working as a Vice Chancellor at First Capital University of Bangladesh, Chuadanga and has more than thirty years of experience in Administrative Experience as Treasurer, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Chairman, Department of Agronomy in Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU)
